Norfork (Fairmont) Hotel

Safari Club

Kentmere Club

The hotel started way back in the late 1920s as Club, where Members of shooting range nearby then, for a good Lunch or dinner. The Means of Transport was horses and chariots.

The Club has changed ownership severally, with the present ownership having taken up the management of the club from 1986. The Kentmere club is managed by a board of Directors with the day to day running operations carried out by a team of dedicated staff under a Manager.

The Club aims at giving a homely atmosphere, away from home and giving an atmosphere that is conducive to a retreat, romance, or just simply a rest from the hectic life of today.

The club has a membership of about 600 Members. The Club has 16 Rooms with a bed capacity of 34pax. All the rooms are self contained set out in the lavish gardens and every room has fireplace to kill out the cold Limuru Nights. For Members a discount of 20% is given on accommodation. For one to become a member a fee of Ksh 1000/= as entrance fee and Ksh 1000/= as annual subscription is payable upon completion of an application form, whereby one is required to be proposed and seconded by two paid-up Members.


Karen Blixen Cottages

Karen Blixen Camp in the Masai Mara offers an authentic ’yesteryear’ experience for visitors wishing to gain that little extra from their safari
Set on the bank of the Mara River, the location is spectacular. Throughout the day elephants, giraffes, zebras and impalas come for a drink while a large hippo pod rest lazily in the river.

Jacaranda Hotel
